The International Film Series and Boulder Public Library host the Chow Down Film Festival this weekend. Films featuring food will screen across Boulder throughout the weekend, and the event will feature Boulder’s first “Hummus Throw-down” at Shine Restaurant and Gathering Place on Sunday, Oct. 13.

If you’re heading to the Great American Beer Festival this weekend in Denver, you might want to know that it’s bigger than ever, according to the Denver Post. Missed out on tickets to the GABF? Well have no fear, craft brew lover. The Daily Camera gives a rundown of events celebrating the GABF throughout the Boulder area.
